NASSAU COUNTY · OFFICIAL RESOURCES

Distinguish the two kinds of property sales

Nassau’s Clerk has a combined Tax Deed Sales and Foreclosures entry point. Start with the type of notice and case information you actually received. A mortgage lawsuit needs a review of the court papers; a general property-sale description is not enough to establish what is pending or what response may be needed.

Your local court resources

Nassau County is part of Florida’s Fourth Judicial Circuit. Use the county and case number on your court papers when locating records; another county in the same circuit has a separate Clerk and case search.

What to have ready for your conversation

  • The complete summons, complaint and any recent court notices.
  • Your latest mortgage statement and relevant payment or servicer correspondence.
  • Any response already filed, prior agreement or scheduled hearing or sale.

Anthony Rumore, P.A. serves homeowners in Fernandina Beach, Yulee and Callahan. Discuss your goals, the court papers and the possible scope of representation. The firm’s office is in Fort Lauderdale; this page describes service coverage, not a Nassau County office.

Questions from Nassau County homeowners

Is this a local office in Nassau County?

No. The firm is based at 1318 SE 1st Ave in Fort Lauderdale and serves homeowners throughout Florida. Ask about consultation and representation arrangements for your matter.

Does an auction listing tell me everything about my case?

No. Start with the Nassau County resources above, but also keep your court notices and orders. A listing, changed date or missing search result does not establish that the lawsuit is over or that no response is needed.

What if a hearing or sale is approaching?

Call the firm and identify the date on your latest notice. Do not wait for an online reply. Contacting the firm does not stop a case, change a deadline or create an attorney-client relationship; representation must be separately agreed upon.
