Facing a mortgage lawsuit, court notice or sale in Pinellas County? Anthony Rumore, P.A. helps Florida homeowners review their papers and discuss a response. Start here for local court resources and consultation preparation.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Prepare for a foreclosure defense conversation in Pinellas County.

Keep any case-management order that came with the summons. Tell the firm about all scheduled events, not only the sale date, and any previous attempt to resolve the loan.

Explain what you want to resolve and what has happened so far. Anthony Rumore, P.A. can discuss a review of your court papers, possible defense issues and the scope of representation. Use the local resources below to gather information—not to decide a deadline or legal response on your own.

PINELLAS COUNTY · OFFICIAL RESOURCES

Use the mortgage-foreclosure section of Civil Court

Pinellas’ Clerk groups its mortgage-foreclosure calendar, online-sales link and administrative-order resources within the Civil Court page. The same section describes mediation and links to homeowner assistance. These are useful starting points, but a listed program or form does not establish that it applies to your case or pauses a pending event.

Clearwater and St. Petersburg: organize the case, not just the balance

The Clerk’s mortgage-foreclosure resources include administrative orders and mediation information. Keep any standing or case-management order with the summons so the firm can review the whole packet. A court’s general information page does not establish which event is next in your individual case.

If you are asking about mediation, bring the notices and any existing proposal. The firm can discuss whether a request makes sense, what it would cover and what separate court obligations still need attention.

Your local court resources

Pinellas County is part of Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit. Use the county and case number on your court papers when locating records; another county in the same circuit has a separate Clerk and case search.

What to have ready for your conversation

  • The complete summons, complaint and any recent court notices.
  • Your latest mortgage statement and relevant payment or servicer correspondence.
  • Any response already filed, prior agreement or scheduled hearing or sale.

Anthony Rumore, P.A. serves homeowners in Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Largo and Dunedin. Discuss your goals, the court papers and the possible scope of representation. The firm’s office is in Fort Lauderdale; this page describes service coverage, not a Pinellas County office.

FORECLOSURE DEFENSE IN FLORIDA

What a defense review can cover

A review may consider who is entitled to enforce the loan, required notices, service, the amount claimed and relevant servicer communications. The issues depend on your documents and case history; a list of possible defenses does not mean any particular defense applies.

Ask what needs attention now, what further records are needed and whether a negotiated resolution should be considered alongside the litigation. No outcome is guaranteed.

Questions from Pinellas County homeowners

What should I bring if I want to discuss mediation?

Bring the complaint, court orders, any mediation notice and the written proposal you want reviewed. Pinellas Clerk resources include mortgage-foreclosure and mediation information, but a general resource does not establish the requirements in your case. Ask how any proposed negotiation would fit alongside the pending litigation.

Is this a local office in Pinellas County?

No. The firm is based at 1318 SE 1st Ave in Fort Lauderdale and serves homeowners throughout Florida. Ask about consultation and representation arrangements for your matter.

Does an auction listing tell me everything about my case?

No. Start with the Pinellas County resources above, but also keep your court notices and orders. A listing, changed date or missing search result does not establish that the lawsuit is over or that no response is needed.

What if a hearing or sale is approaching?

Call the firm and identify the date on your latest notice. Do not wait for an online reply. Contacting the firm does not stop a case, change a deadline or create an attorney-client relationship; representation must be separately agreed upon.
